Ravmeddara is a real paradize for trekking and wildlife observation.
Trekking opportunities:
- Walking up and down the Ravmeddara Gorge and visit the side valleys (at least 2 days)


- Climbing up to the foot of Peak Patkhor, 6083m (at least 3 days)
- Combining Ravmeddara with the neighbouring Jizev Gorge with its beautiful mountain lakes (at least 3 days)
- Climbing up to Basid in upper Bartang valley (at least 2 days)

What to see?
- Impressive mountainous landscape with rivers and streams, green valley bottoms, rocky slopes, glaciers and snow capped peaks
- Old villages with traditional lifestyle, horticulture, agriculture, livestock breeding and various crafts (water mill, smithy, knitting of the famous Pamiri socks jurabi)

- Ancient artefacts of daily and cultural lives as books, tools, guns, embroideries, remnants of castles, holy sites (mazar), petroglyphs

- A large diversity of birds, among which song birds, snowcocks, and rare birds of prey as the lammergeyer, Himalayan vulture and golden eagle
- Wild animals as the Central Asian ibex, marmot, pica, fox, tolay hare, wolf and signs of the king of the mountains, the snow leopard
- Plenty of beautiful flowers and wild fruits
